Harlow Glass provided a range of commercial windows & doors as part of this conversion of a car park to a business suite and gym. The project had several design and specification issues to overcome. The windows and doors were required to provide an arched head to integrate with the existing structure. At the same time a large amount of purge ventilation was required to meet the car park conversion M&E design. This was achieved by using large sliding windows to maximise the clear openings. A commercial doorset was installed with the same arched head design.

Internally a bespoke industrial glass screen was installed to a business suite gym. This design required the integration of sliding doors along with solid panel sections. To allow the installation to be completed in one, a bespoke head track was installed to provide the sliding door function. Solid aluminium panels were then used with glazing bars to blank out the required sections of the glass. This design approach meant that the design brief could be met without introducing a thicker tradition metal or timber door frame.
