Toughened Glass

By heat treating standard sheet glass the strength of the processed panel is greatly increased.  This increases the range of uses of glass in construction and fit out and is used in a wide range of other products.  The building regulations often require the use of toughened glass around buildings to ensure the safety of users and occupiers.  Toughened glass is also essential for use in furniture and similar situations and Harlow Glass can cut and toughen panels to any requirement in-house.

Mirror Panels

With a range of decorative finishes and tints, mirror panels are more than the standard bathroom product.  Antique mirrors provide a range of aged and treated mirror effects, with each panel different to the next when hand distressing is applied.  Colour tints can provide striking results when combined with lighting effect while anti-mist pads can control moisture on the mirror surface in damp environments.

Back Painted Glass

With an in-house painting studio Harlow Glass can provide back painted products to suit anything from simple glass splashbacks through to feature glazed walls.  Our control of the painting process means we can achieve the widest range of colour specifications including Farrow & Ball, Dulux, RAL colours and many more.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass can be used on a wide range of installations, including safety glazing, security situations through to bullet and bomb proof screens.  Modern manufacturing methods allow for an extensive range of materials to be integrated within the panel to provide a range of decorative or architectural finishes and new coloured interlayer expand the possibilities futher.

Switchable Glass

Privacy at the flick of a switch.  This method of providing the flexibility of a switchable translucent layer into glazed walls and panels is becoming very popular in both the commercial and residential markets.  The ability to control through fixed switches or even via tablets or smart phones make this a real statement feature in any environment removing the need for internal blinds or screens.
